Puppy Training Program

Service Description

Setting puppies up to be confident and well-adjusted canines of the world. This 5 week program will teach your puppies essential skills that help them to navigate their world with ease. In addition, this program prioritizes safe, controlled, and positive socialization to foster desirable behaviours, and prevent problem behaviours before they occur.  "Early and adequate socialization and programs of positive training can go a long way to preventing behavior problems and improving bonding between humans and dogs." - American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviour What Does this Program Include? -Safe socialization with people, dogs, sights, sounds, + more​ - Proper house training, alone time, + addressing nipping and chewing - Polite leash manners + greetings - Cooperative handling + grooming  - Building healthy settling skills - Teaching reliable responses to "Leave-It", "Drop-It", "Recall", "Name Recognition" - Fostering healthy social skills + play - Learning dog body language + communication  - Enrichment activities to meet physical + mental needs - Individualized training plan based on your individual puppies needs  Who is this program for? - ​Puppies between the ages of 8-16 weeks who have been home for a minimum of one week prior to the start of their first lesson. - All puppies must be up-to-date with their vaccinations as per their veterinary recommendation vaccination schedule.  - Please reach out if you have any questions ​ ​ ​
